The white Panasonic AW_HE40 turret camera, equipped with SDI output, features a 1/2.3″ MOS sensor. Once connected to the Internet, this camera lets you control zoom, iris and focus, as well as surveillance and monitoring via web browser. This offers you several clear advantages, such as reduced integration costs, easier production and lower costs if you increase your infrastructure in volume.
Equipped with a 4.3 - 129mm zoom (the 35mm equivalent is 31.6 - 962mm) with a x30 optical zoom and a x16 digital zoom, this turret camera lets you zoom in on the areas of activity you're monitoring, to sharpen your view of the action. This makes the camera even more perceptible in discreet production and reality TV. It is also equipped with a night mode for capturing very fine images in monochrome.
In the vein of Panasonic's new turret cameras, its release was accompanied by a host of technical innovations. To find out more, read the blog post on the subject.
