The Z CAM E2 incorporates a micro 4/3″ WDR CMOS sensor offering double ISO sensitivity in low-light conditions, ideal for shooting C4K 4096×2160 at 120fps (4096×1728 at 160fps) and 300 Mb/s in 10-bit color.
The Z CAM E2 4K cinema camera lets you shoot in DCI and UHD 4K at speeds of up to 160 fps, and in HD at up to 240 fps with recording on a CFast 2.0 card (not supplied).

An optional cable allows two E2 cameras to be synchronized, and the system will be able to support the synchronization of 100 cameras. The Z Car camera features a 4/3″ sensor with 10-bit color support and 13+ stops of dynamic range and 16+ stops in WDR mode. The camera supports 10-bit ProRes 422 recording, as well as H.265 and H.264 codecs for efficient compression of your image.
A Gigabit connector is included for data transfer and camera control. You can also use an available iOS app to control the camera and preview the live image. You can also control it locally using the buttons on the front edge of the camera. The Z Cam is powered by an L-series battery (not supplied) or by the supplied AC adapter.

Firmware 0.88 brings a number of improvements, including ZRAW and DCI / UHD 4K recording at a maximum speed of 160 fps.

iOS app
Z Camera is a mobile application for live camera preview and control via a Wi-Fi / USB cable connection. It lets you start/stop recording and adjust camera settings remotely, and also features advanced live camera preview functionality. It can be downloaded from the Apple App Store.
