Introducing Dji Ronin Thumb Controller

The DJI Ronin Thumb Controller is a wireless Ronin and Ronin-M controller for DJI Ronin that simplifies control of your Ronin or Ronin-M, even with a single operator. Take difficult or previously inaccessible shots and exploit the full potential of your rig.

Complete thumb control

Custom-built, the pressure-sensitive stick lets you quickly change the parameters, speed and direction of your rig, all with the touch of your thumb. Control your camera's orientation and access advanced settings such as calibration and channel parameters. Making changes is even easier than with the Ronin remote control or the mobile app, and can be done while you're shooting.

Compatible with Ronin and Ronin-M

The Wireless Thumb Controller is fully compatible and ready for use with DJI's Ronin and Ronin-M. Please note that an additional external receiver is required to use the Thumb Controller with the Ronin, which is not the case with the Ronin-M, which has a built-in receiver.

Quick setup and installation

Simply connect the Thumb Controller to your carrycot and you're ready to go. The Thumb Controller attaches easily to the handlebars and can be placed wherever you like, without the need for tools.

Clear OLED screen

View current status and click on menu options on the bright, clear OLED display. Both compact and powerful, this display makes it easy to access the basic functions of your Ronin or Ronin-M.

Extended battery life and range

The Thumb Controller's built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 18 hours of operation per charge. So you can use it all day without worry. If you prefer to control your Ronin or Ronin-M from a distance, the transmission range of almost 60 meters makes it easy to take unique photos.

Integrated rapid calibration

You can now automatically adjust stability with advanced ATS technology ("Auto Tune Stability"), or even calibrate the nacelle, without having to stand in front of your mobile device. Just go to the thumb controller's main menu, and select "Cali System" or "Auto Tune" in the pod menu options.

Future developments

The Thumb Controller's micro-USB port lets you download and apply future software updates, as well as recharge the built-in battery.
