Introducing Blackmagic Design Video Assist 7" 12G HDR
The Blackmagic Design Video Assist 7" 12G HDR is a recording monitor that incorporates a bright 7″ 1920×1080 display with 2500 cd/m² brightness. It features 12G-SDI and HDMI inputs for recording video output from professional and consumer cameras. The monitor also features two balanced 3-pin mini-XLR inputs with 48V phantom power support for crisp audio recording. You can monitor and record HDR video at up to 4K DCI, 4K UHD, 2K or HD 4:2:2 10-bit, and up to 16 channels of 24-bit 48 kHz embedded audio.
The Blackmagic Design Video Assist " 12G HDR records using 2 high-speed SD UHS-II slots on SDHC / XC memory cards. You can also use the USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port to record to an external drive, as well as to configure and upgrade the monitor. Video is recorded using Apple ProRes codecs (HQ, 422, LT or Proxy) and standard Avid DNxHD and DNxHR codecs. The monitor interface lets you adjust settings and access monitoring functions such as histogram, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope and many other scopes and exposure tools. There's also an indicator light on top of the monitor to show that it's working and recording. To power the monitor, a 12V AC adapter is included. It also has two battery slots on the rear to power the monitor using Sony L-series batteries, available separately.
