Compared to its predecessor, the REDMAG 1.8″the MINI-MAG is much faster in both read and write speeds. As a result, it can handle higher resolutions and frame rates at lower compression.

Data transfer speed is 50% faster on a RED WEAPON camera than on an EPIC DRAGON. Capable of simultaneously recording R3D and Apple ProRes from WEAPON, SCARLET-W and RED RAVEN cameras: the MINI-MAG is the ideal media solution, whatever your workflow.

Made from sturdy aluminum, the RED MINI-MAG is a reliable, compact and durable accessory.

The gray models provide read/write speeds of up to 225 MB/s, while the red ones are turbo models with speeds of up to 300 MB/s for even lower REDCODE compression.

NB: You need a RED MINI-MAG Side SSD module to use the MINI-MAG with EPIC or Scarlet cameras.
