The NTG-1 microphone offers an electronically balanced output level and operates at 48 V in the P48 standard.
Its bandwidth and directionality control, coupled with low-noise SMT electronics and light weight, make the NTG-1 ideal for simple attachment to a video camera or boom.
The NTG-1 comes complete with its clip and a windscreen that suppresses breath when recording outdoors in normal conditions. Additional accessories are available for other applications.

The NTG-1 works with standard 48V phantom power. It accepts a voltage of between 44 and 52 V in positive polarity between terminals 2 and 3 via the XLR output connector.
Output impedance
The NTG-1 will operate optimally up to a load impedance of 1k Ohm. If a load below this is used, the output signal level will be reduced.
The NTG-1 output is balanced between pins 2 (hot), 3 (cold) and pin 1 (ground).
