The Audio-Technica AT875R is designed for video production and broadcast (ENG/EFP) applications. It is the shortest of the Audio-Technica shotgun microphones. It mounts easily and without noticeable extra weight on a DV camcorder, and is particularly suitable for compact digital cameras. This high-performance microphone provides a narrow acceptance angle in both line and gradient modes. On-axis sound is natural and smooth, with excellent off-axis rejection of sound coming from the sides and rear of the microphone.
